Cookbook Review: Best of Bridge Series

The Best of Bridge is a whole series of Canadian cookbooks. It is basically a group of women who had a bridge club back in the 70’s, and they decided to write cookbooks. These are some of the most foolproof recipes you’ll ever try. We had 4 or 5 of the books growing up, and we used them all the time. They mix fun little jokes with amazing recipes. In Canada you can pretty much find these at every yard sale, but in the States you’ll need to look extra hard. I don’t know if I’ve ever come across one here. If ou find one, pick it up I promise this is a wonderful investment!

Recipes Tried: Best ever Banana Bread, Banana Muffins, Brandy Nut Brie, Burritos, Short Cut Stroganoff, Beef Extraordinaire, and many more!

Pros: The recipes are excellent. It’s Canadian, so how can you go wrong?! The spiral binding is genius!

Cons: They don’t sell it in America. If you’re passing through the Toronto airport, go pick one up at the bookstore.

  1. So, I thought I’d just mention that Isaac (3.5) asked for lemon curd and it made me think of frankly entertaining. We are thoroughly enjoying your food blog!
