I thought I’d change things up a bit this week by reviewing one of my favorite food magazines. One day I’ll post about my recipe filing system, and then you’ll really appreciate how much I use magazines for cooking and entertaining. I subscribe to a ton of magazines, but this is one of the best food ones I’ve come across. I love Martha for ideas, but sometimes her recipes are a little daunting for not a huge payout. I have had really good experiences with the recipes I’ve tried from Saveur, and the articles are great. The nice thing about magazines is that you can usually find subscriptions for next to nothing. I think I use my Coke rewards to get this one. One of my favorite things about this magazine is that it goes all over the world and features different types of regional cuisine. Get a copy next time you’re at the store, and see if you feel the same way I feel.
