DIY Chicken Nuggets

I won’t lie, I buy chicken nuggets for my kids’ lunches pretty often. They’re quick and easy and they get eaten! Supper however, is a different matter. I don’t like to cook two meals. I’m a strong believer in my kids eating the same meals that we eat. Our house isn’t a restaurant, and I don’t want them ordering off of the menu! A few years ago a friend told me of her sure-fire way of getting her kids to eat all their dinner: have them make it. Her big thing was having her kids make their chicken nuggets. We eat chicken for dinner fairly often, and this is an easy way for my kids to not whine about grilled chicken breasts! All it takes is some cut up chicken breasts and some Shake ‘N Bake. The kids get to shake away and feel like they’re in charge. Sometimes I’ll also use Shake ‘N Bake with potatoes to make them fun. This method also works really well if you’re cooking fish. If you play a little dance music you can turn the whole thing into a party!
