This week for our French Fridays with Dorie recipe we tried the Basque Potato Tortilla. I was a little intimidated by the title, it sounds fancy – but it was just a simple potato and onion omelet-like creation that was finished in the oven. We ate it for dinner with a spinach salad and almost everyone raved about the meal. My daughter who doesn’t care for any pepper in any thing thought it was too spicy (there’s barely a hint of spice). I thought that the dish was simple and the recipe was overly-detailed and easy to follow. Dorie also gives lots of ideas on different ingredient combinations – I think I’ll try the mushroom tortilla next.What is French Fridays with Dorie?
