We are less than a week away from our family reunion! What does it say about me that I am actually excited to plan meals for 30 people for a week. This is my idea of fun! I don’t know if I would still think it was fun if it was every single day and that is why I don’t have a bakery (that and my 3 kids I like to be home with
)
I’m trying to get the menu finalized because I’m going to take one trip to the mainland to try to get the bulk of what I need. I’m going to leave Jason and the kids home on Saturday so I can just focus on the shopping!
Each day a different family is in charge of the meals for the day. I’m trying to make things as easy as possible because no one wants to spend a lot of time in the kitchen during vacation, but we still want good food. Hopefully we get both next week. I’m also going to spend the first few days of next week preparing snacks and sweets to have ready for our guests.
I can’t believe it’s so close – we are getting excited!
