I knew this recipe was going to be a good one. I love asparagus, and I don’t know how you can go wrong adding bacon to anything! I think I may have gone a little heavy with the lemon, but it was all delicious. I also chose not to invest in walnut oil, so I’m curious to see how that affected the flavor. I did cut up the bacon before I cooked it. I never understood cutting it after, this way everything cooks a bit more quickly.
I would definitely say this was a success at our house.
