You should be able to tell from the title of today’s post just how long I’ve been thinking about it! It’s a little embarrassing that I’m naming a shake after a three year old Taylor Swift song! I used to think I was cool, let’s be honest, I was never cool, but now all pretense is gone! Yesterday I posted a recipe for a sophisticated cheesecake, but today is all about fun! This mint shake comes together in a couple of minutes, and it will be a huge hit with kids (and kids at heart) everywhere.
I topped the shake with shamrock sprinkles, but that’s just because I forgot the bag of cereal marshmallows that I bought earlier this month. Just in case you’re wondering, you don’t need to pick out marshmallows individually from your Lucky Charms, you can buy Cereal Marshmallows by the pound on amazon!
So, just in case you don’t have tiny leprechauns making messes, or rainbow footprints leading to pots of gold, you can still have a fun afternoon snack for your kids. If you let them add the sprinkles, they’ll be full of fun St. Patrick’s Day memories!
Milkshakes are pretty much milk and ice cream at the ratio that you prefer. I know lots of people like a shake that requires a spoon, but I like them a little thinner.
